Where stories are only limited by the imagination and experiences of the participants
Sugarfoots will introduce young audiences to the wonderful world of Theatre storytelling as they learn to address an audience with their own personal voice and style.
Participantsguided through the art of storytellingwill be amazed at themselves as their own stories are developed and told.
Learning to find their own voices through storytelling will develop a strong sense of self and skills needed to confidently address any audience.
After telling their own stories before an audience, individuals for each age group category will receive a certificate of accomplishment. Certificates will be presented at the end of every one-day workshop and the last week of the four-week workshop.
AGE GROUPS 6 - 8
An excellent age to begin the art of storytelling on a fun-loving level. Through improvisational exercises, participants will be taught the three fundamentals of storytelling and performing a good story.
AGE GROUPS 9-12 and 13-17
With assistance, participants will be encouraged to express and exchange their thoughts and ideas as they create their stories. Each age group category will be taught a movement class, focusing on working as a team as they close each workshop as a collective body.

Attire: Loose clothing and comfortable shoes.
